Fencing Update (Web Exclusive!)

Although my knowledge of the fast paced sport does not go beyond the words of touche and parry 3, the boys and girls Fencing teams have had an action packed season. The girls team is led by the fearless and talented Amanda-fence-like-a-butterfly-sting-like-a-bee-Z. (’11). Molina B. (12) and Mia B. (’12) are formidable competitors as well. Be careful if you want to throw down the gauntlet with this talented group. Amanda tells me that the team has lots of great, energetic underclassmen and looks forward to years to come for the girls team. The boys team is led by Nick-too-tall-for-his-own-good-P.(’10). Other key members to watch include Nathan-plays-guitar-and-fences!-S. (’11), Allen-q-tiful-Q. (’12) and Misha-mother-earth-is-my-mama-S. (’11). Jonathan Fudem (’12) is pretty awesome too. The boys team has also fielded many freshmen who seem to have bright future in their fencing careers. Go Devils!
